If you're new to Bowen, this walk is perfect for you! With useful information about the ongoing history of Bowen Island, you'll see important landmarks and learn about exciting upcoming events on the island. This 2km walk will take you through the two main island shopping centres, outlining the best places to eat, rest and enjoy the island culture.

Nature Walk     $15 / 2 hours easy walk

A peaceful and informative walk along Bowen Island's most popular nature path. This 2.5km guided walk is suitable for all ages and features animals such as eagles, native black tailed deer and our resident swan. You will learn about landmarks in the Memorial Gardens, stroll to the historic Davies Orchard Cottages and get a look at the Salmon Fish Ladder at the hatchery. Join us to find out the story behind Bowen Island!

Dorman Point     $20 / 2 hours moderate walk and hike

A refreshing mid-morning hike leading you to the edge of serenity— the top of Bowen Island overlooking the extraordinary BC mountains and ocean. This 2km moderate hike is a great chance to see Bowen's wildlife. Climb to the rocky plateau and have a snack while you take in the spectacular view.

Killarney Lake     $25 / 3.5 hours moderate walk and hike

A beautiful escape from the city buzz with the perfect combination of breath-taking scenery and interesting wildlife. Starting from Snug Cove, we'll walk to the foot of Mt. Gardner and circle Bowen's most mystical lake, Killarney Lake. This 4km hike shows the incomparable artistry of BC nature in a nutshell.

Day Hike 1 up Mt. Gardner     $40 / 6 hours difficult hike

Ever wondered what it's like to be 700 metres above sea level looking out over the world? Well at the top of Mount Gardner is the best place to do it! This fairly difficult day-long hike will take you up through the rainforest to beauty that is most definitely worth the sore muscles the next day!

Day Hike 2 up Mt. Gardner     $40 / 6 hours moderate hike

Our second Mount Gardner hike is for those of you who are somewhat less experienced or want to save some energy for the night's events. This 5 1/2 hour hike takes you to the top of the 700m elevation with a little less strain, and still incorporates all of the wildlife the rainforest has to offer!
